The objective of this new Industrial Policy is to achieve higher and sustainable economic growth with emphasis on balanced regional development and employment generation through greater private and public investment in industrial and infrastructure development. The Validity of this policy is upto 31st March 2011.

Classification of Products of Village Industries

This notification of Industries, Energy and Labour Department , Matralaya, Mumbai dated 25th February 2003, describes the procedure for obtaining Electricity Duty Exemption under Maharashtra Industrial Policy 2001.
