2. Establishment of water treatment plants (WTP).
3. Planning & Establishment of pure water rising main & water supply network inside the Industrial area.

6. Establishment of Cross Drainage (CD) works & Bridges.

9. Establishment of effluent collection and disposal systems for chemical zones.
10. Undertaking Deposit Contribution works for various Government departments and agencies.

This department of MIDC is responsible for following activities
1. Circulating guidelines covering environmental protection, CETP, CHWTSDF, STP, Environmental clearance for new MIDC, CRZ clearance for treated industrial effluent disposal pipeline, Solid Waste Disposal enforcing environmental legislation; monitoring environmental quality in MIDC industrial areas.
2. Advising on the environmental implications of town planning and new policies; handling pollution complaints and incidents; and raising awareness and support.
3. Scrutiny of Priority Land application from environmental perspective

This department of MIDC is responsible for issuance of following activities
1. Operation and Maintenance of fire stations in MIDC areas
2. Implementation of Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006 and Development Control Rules of MIDC, which includes grant of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Fire at the time of building plan approval.
3. Final Fire Approval before granting Occupancy to building
4. Renewal of fire approval based on provisions of various Acts and Rules.

1. Media relations, tracking and evaluating media coverage
2. Preparing and publishing materials, brochures, videos, for public

1. To scrutinise application and offer remarks under priority land allotment category
2. To examine and offer remarks in case of change in activity proposals (Red Category)
3. Issuance of LoI and Registration to IT/ITES units in MMR
4. Fixing the date of production of units in complicated/specific cases.

Town Planning authority undertakes development planning of industrial area wherein proper layout preparation of an industrial area is done
